Duflanka tago // Ambivalent Day [Mar. 25th, 2009|07:39 pm]

Duflanka tago

Ambivalent Day

Estis malagrable malvarme kaj vente, sed la suno brilis. Mi luktis kontraux mi mem (mi ja estas mia plej malbona malamiko) en mia matena animacia klaso, sed dum mia posttagmeza klaso pri korpodesegnado (kiu kutime defiegigas min), mi ne tute malsukcesis. It was bitterly cold and windy today, but the sun was shining. I was a hinderence to myself (I truly am my own worst enemy) in my morning animation class, but in Life Drawing this afternoon (which usually kicks my ass), I wasn't entirely disgusted with what I was doing. So I guess it was an okay day.

becoming ambidextrous

i was reading your article 'becoming ambidextrous' the other day and was amazed on your determination. i'm an ambidextrous myself n nvr thought that being one is actually something to be proud of..i was born left-handed and my dad forced me to use my righthand. during my childhood, i was alway confused on which hand to use as both are equally dominant..i was really dyslexic and still am (in a way). its embarassing sometimes as i stutter a lot or rather speaking incoherently..my friend commented the other day when we play pool 'are u lefthanded or righthanded?' and i said both.thats when i learned the word ambidextrous..i do think that being equally dominant on both hands, rely much on your ability to control your mind..once u set ur mind to it. its an acquired talent, i think.

i was reading another article prior to urs suggesting tht ambidexterity indicates brain damage!!i dnt knw how reliable is that arti.

anyway, goodluck to u on becoming a successful ambidextrous (im having a hardtime spelling this word :P)

best wishes

Everything from Ambidexterity to Esperanto

Hi, my names Asiya and I stumbled upon your site while looking for info about people who, like me, wanted to become ambidextourous. I was surprised and pleased to find you were a fellow Esperantist!

I must admit that I am mere komencanto in the lingvo internacia, but I have plans to continue my self-studies through out the summer and on down the road I'd love to attend a conference.

I was born right handed but could always do some basic things with both hands, such as snapping, I had pretty much always wanted to use my left hand as well as my right and, much to my friends and family amusement, I have taken sparodic stabs at developing it and can now write with my left hand though it is much slower than with my right hand. Or, if I write at a normal rate than it is fairly sloppy. I would love to talk to you and just maintain occassional contact with you.

I know that my website is down right now. I took it down and haven't had the chance to put it back up since I started Web Design in January and am trying to complete the (self-paced) program in less than 5 months. But my email is chibminshiy@gmail.com.

If you'd be interested in corresponding (maybe even mentoring!) a fellow Esperantist and out-the-box thinker, than please, please, please, please email me.

Re: Everything from Ambidexterity to Esperanto

By the way, my website is http://gizmatic.webs.com.
I had meant to include it in my original post. I am sorry about this.
